My name is Eun-Young Taylor and I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher and 200 hour certified Yoga instructor, ACE certified personal trainer and AADP certified holistic health coach with extensive training and experience working with various specialty populations. Following the birth of my first son, I was fortunate enough to experience first hand real exercise programming based on specific medical research - this inspired me to support others achieve physical inner strength and healing through appropriate movement (specificity above intensity). In this process of educating myself to become a fitness professional, I learned the true beauty of pilates and earned my comprehensive pilates certification through Core Pilates NYC®. Over time, the desire to explore deeper into the history of pilates, to gain a deeper understanding of the ‘why’s’ and the role current medical research plays in its evolution brought me to Pure Body Teacher Training, a classical pilates teacher training program that takes a functional approach to the body and is constantly evolving with current medical research. I am bridge faculty for this supportive, inclusive and robust Pilates training program.
